Event hosts can use this web application to create events and send their guests invitations with unique QR codes. These QR codes can be scanned by ushers with an accompanying iPhone app, which will send data back to the event host. This entire project was built in less than 24 hours for Yahoo!’s hackathon at UCLA in October 2011.

An Android app that was built for CS M117 (Winter 2012 offering) that experiments with the possibilities of NFC. I implemented the following functionality: the app will get your location and find all foursquare venues around you, then you can select a venue and write its foursquare url to an NFC tag.
